There are three clumps just like this down the side of my house. OK, gardener-types, what should I do? Leave the mulchiness to keep them warmer for now, right?

When the sun finally came out this morning, our entire staff went outside to bow before the bringer of light and happiness and listen as the ice fell in chunks from the powerlines. :) Then I took some photos. :)

I've been in many ice storms, but I can't remember one where there were icicles on all the trees.

This is the first ever image on Sea of Ks that's been PhotoShopped (you really have to blow it up to full size to get the full affect). It's actually a photo of the "ice stalagmite" (which I know is impossible, KC :o) ) in the foreground. I just thought it was funny that there was an "icicle" sticking *up* from the ground. Unfortunately the light wasn't great. Here's the pre-adjustment photo:
I also took a couple of pictures as the ice storm started tonight, but they were mostly black, so here's a second messed with one:
The last couple of days I've gone out and my car has had wet stuff on it... I remember it vaguely from when I used to live in the Midwest, I think it's called "condensation" or "dew"? :o) Too warm for frost but still wetness on every surface. Today it was frost again, and I have no idea where my scraper is right now, so... While I waited for it to warm up enough, I took some pictures of the sunrise out back.
