At the dentist's office... some very cool trees with ice dripping off of them.

I've been in many ice storms, but I can't remember one where there were icicles on all the trees.

My scent trap tree has borne fruit. But these aren't the kind of olives you eat. :) (I am quite taken with the sun burst above, and the sunlight affects below.)

Dappling Defined

Been moody girl for a couple of weeks. Something's bothering me that I just can't shake (or put my finger on, exactly). Trying to look at the world from new perspectives--here's one. :)

Scent Trap

Walking in from my car the last few days I've been stopped in my tracks by a fragrance. I then am further delayed while I look around for the flower that caused it. (Yes, I'm a stop and smell the flowers kind of person.) But I hadn't found it. Then, yesterday at lunch my bosses were discussing how much they love the Russian olive trees that grow near the parking lot because they smell so good. So, this morning, when I stopped to smell, I looked up instead of down. I know what a Russian olive looks like, but the tree also has tiny yellow flowers that I'd missed. So, you get a photo of the Russian olive scent trap that I keep falling into.
