More Frosty Fotos...

This is a photo of all the *different* types of frost on my car. Particularly of the fuzzy pretty stuff on the rail mount... Purty... :)

The Ogden Beach

This is what happens when you have a few ice storms, then some snow, and then it all melts--a sandbar appears in the parking lot.
This seedpod was gorgeous with the frost and slanted morning rays.

Winter in Kansas...

I've been in many ice storms, but I can't remember one where there were icicles on all the trees.

A tree in my front yard that will offer less shade next summer (took these while I was home for lunch):
And a few random icy limbs of the mimosa (took these this morning before I left):
And, of course, couldn't have an ice storm without a windshield shot:

A Time to Prune

This is all that's left of my scent-trap Russian Olive tree.
And here's My Tree's stump...

And just a little more frost.

(I can't resist, it's so pretty...)

Humidity, Anyone?

The weather is just crazy. Almost Thanksgiving and still no really cold days. No coat needed to get to the damp car. Today, puddles formed under the car where the condensation dripped.

First Frost

The first time that my car had actual frozen frost on it this morning. The patterns are just fascinating to me.
From inside the car.
Just a weird perspective.

Frosted Sunrise

The last couple of days I've gone out and my car has had wet stuff on it... I remember it vaguely from when I used to live in the Midwest, I think it's called "condensation" or "dew"? :o) Too warm for frost but still wetness on every surface. Today it was frost again, and I have no idea where my scraper is right now, so... While I waited for it to warm up enough, I took some pictures of the sunrise out back.

Then I got bored and started taking them through the frost. Got some cool effects.

Some too cute ones I took of Jac later in the day.

And to keep up the sunset series (Kyle caught me taking the picture):
