Snow-covered

I didn't realize it was snowing until Sirius came in snow-covered...

Icicle Perspective

These are all of the same icicle, from different perspectives.

Out sitting in his field...
Just waiting for the rabbit to run by...

When the Human's Home Sick

That's when it's time for puppies to really relax...
What a rough life he leads...

Toward a Less Neurotic Cat...

This is the room that Lex lives in, note that Sirius will not fit. This morning he got his nose in as far as it would go, though. :)

The Final Frontier

Sirius made it on the bed.
He didn't stay long because I squirm too much.
Boy was Lex surprised. :o)
And, sunset reflections.

Age Has Its Privileges

My 96-year-old grandmother gave Sirius cookies. Not dog cookies, but butter cookies, from a tin. (No one else is allowed to give him people food...)
That blur in the lower left-hand corner is my dog wiggling himself into a frenzy for a cookie... :o)

We Agree

Sirius practicing his "I miss my new friends and
by the way it's too hot in this house" laundry room pout.
I mostly agree... :)

Not Chinless or Mindless

Kyle shaved off his beard, so I thought I'd document it.
Isolda seems to like it:

And here's my snow-loving puppy in the park:

Heading Home...

The bridge over the Mississippi getting to Quincy is pretty, and it's even better at sunset.

And here's Sirius (with my finger) listening intently:

A Sirius Homecoming

In the car on the way home.
Interested in the outside.

First glimpse of the new digs.
Lex's feelings on the matter.

(Yes, I'll get tired of the pun. Soon, I promise... but not yet. :) )

Getting Sirius

This is Sirius Black dog. Diane (who fostered him) isn't holding him in place, she's petting him to try and get him to hold still and look pretty for a photo.
This is "down" (which comes after sit).
And this is for size...
(That's Betty, she runs the shelter, and she's a pretty tall lady.)

A few other action shots.
(Animal photos are hard! They never hold still.)

After a treat, on the way to "sit," and getting a treat.

A few more photos of him are available here, at least for the moment. :)

This is technically a cheat, cuz I took these last night... :) So, here's a couple from today. They apparently weren't finished with the Russian Olive I photographed yesterday, cuz it's completely down now. :(
