Couldn't decide which was cooler, 110000, 110001, or 110011.
[Ed: The third happened on the way home from Topeka May 1, going 70 mph, so there's no picture--OK no *good* picture. :o) ]

These are *raccoon* prints... There are also a few on my hood. And when I got in my car, the condensation on the windshield had what looked like little handprints in it.
Max explains the Jurassic period...
"Max, what do you think?" "Supercalifragilistic Cool!" Plus, I also go down the water slide with them (it's a little like doing windows). I get the coolest aunt award...

Another boring photo today. This is the first (and last) load of dishes done in my dishwasher...
An attempt at organization... :) My mom is coming to stay with me in a week, and I've decided to quit temp living and actually move in a little. I mean, I'm not going over the top and putting out my books or anything, but I'm taking baby steps. And today was all about movement--I came *this* close to making my bed, and then I realized it was less than 6 hours from time for me to get back in it... :)
Somehow, I've become identified with disco balls. Can't imagine how that happened.
And a photo of people milling about contributed by a "mystery guest" photographer (that includes an angle of myself that I can't take):
I can't wait to go to this restaurant with my nephews: The T-Rex Cafe at Legends Mall just outside of KC. Above is the huge octopus that covers the bar area. (Did I mention that it's tentacles move?!?)
This is the sun that's on the ceiling.
A week since I've had a picture of Jacque. Just not right. ;-) Here she is relaxin' in the grocery cart. Khaentlahn arranged some cans of something for her to sit on, and she put her feet up all on her own.
And these are her feet. She was very adamant that I take a picture of them.
Welcome to Grit-land. The frog through whose eyes you are seeing is one that I got when a college friend (whose name starts with X) and I went to the Nelson-Atkins Museum in 1990. It's been on my various computers ever since. :) I'm nothing if not consistent and/or sentimental...
The one tulip that survived the cold weather.
On the way back from lunch it was in shadow, so I came back after work to capture it in the slanted rays.
I commute to work and live out of my car, but, even then, this picture shows a particularly bad day. Two looms, bedding, and eventing stuff for the weekend in addition to the normal complement. (Aggie rode with me, and his armor and baggage have already been removed.) Also notice that, for a change, I got home while the sun was still up.
On the wall outside the community center was this gorgeous (if slightly damaged) luna moth.
And a couple of other Venetians for the day, Tatjana and Suzanne (whose dress I'm wearing above):
Truck stop kitch. These guys really should have worn more armor. Taken at Butler, MO, on the way to the Venetian event this weekend.
Jac in the bonnet that we bought for her at the Lincoln Library. (Which I didn't buy *just* for the Firefly reference, though it was the first thing that went through my head. Picked it up, turned to my brother, and quoted Mal. Can't really picture Jac saying, "I will end you"--but I could teach her... hmmmm...)
Wabbit season! Jac scares the ducks at the park.
The nip hides:
Though it was all for naught:
Time for another self portrait. Tonight I want to be someone else, so the hair came down, and this is what came out. (My eyes are really green tonight.)
I was home sick today, so all you get is another duck. Through a strange twist of timing my mom got into my new place before I did. She left this duck as a house warming present. I love it muchly. :)
