Mary by the Highway

On my way home last night, I got stopped by a train in Dawson, Nebraska. I looked to my right and saw this. The local Catholic church is "St. Mary" and has a lighted statue in its courtyard. The train was long, so I got out to snap a few more photos.
Most of them were totally blown out by the huge lights.
These three I got by putting my hand in front of the light (it was hot)...
She's pretty.
Even her toes. :)

Challenging Perspective

Driving to visit my grandmother in the hospital. This was parked in a truck stop. One of the blades of a wind turbine. These things give new meaning to huge.
