Motion Capture

An afghan in the dryer. Did 10 loads of laundry tonight in preparation for the move. Everything I own is clean . . .

Been awhile since a self photo, so here's me and the sunset reflected in a dryer filled with towels:

Caterpillar Joy

I parked next to the trail that this stunning little guy was diligently following. (Amazing that I didn't run him over.)

Fly Away Home

A nifty-looking green bug starting to fly away. He was on his back in the parking lot, and I wanted a picture of his underside, which was iridescent (attempt seen below). But he got turned over too fast, so I got his backside--though also pretty cool. He was in a hurry to leave, because, as you can see, his wings are on their way out in the above photo.

Normal is Boring

Here's an interior photo of my new place. This strange window is in the kitchen. Maybe it used to be a sliding glass door that went outside? It has a doorjamb that's much bigger than the window on either side. On the outside, the window just sticks straight out over the patio. Plus, you gotta love the sponge-painting, right? :)

Roosters Everywhere!

Took this last night on the way to dinner, but it had to make it up here. Charlie the Rooster hangin' out in downtown Lawrence. :)

Home TBD

I've been working on moving closer to work, and today I got word that the place I was wanting will be mine. :oD Here are some photos I took of my new digs (only the outside, cuz I don't have a key—yet).

This is a tree in my soon-to-be front yard that I already love:
While I was there, a cardinal came to talk to me, but I didn't get a photo of him—yet. :)

These were all taken there, also...
