Watery Sunrise?

The sun looks very strange this morning. Kinda looks like there's a body of water in the sky for it to rise out of...

Cleaning Day

Today, I went back to do the last cleaning and checking to be sure I got everything. Snapped this as I drove out of the driveway for the last time. Goodbye hibiscus in Lawrence.

Here's the place totally clean and ready for the new tenant (who was actually in the place when I took this last photo):
And here's my living room that was pictured below, after I made it livable (I actually live here, now, I have a chair with remotes nearby):

Capitol at Sunset

Something that not everyone knows about me: I absolutely adore the Nebraska state capitol building. I've had very many wonderful experiences there. :) I've always been fascinated by history, and it's a very rich building. I'll see what I can do to make it appear here sometime.

However, I now live and work in the shadow of the Kansas state capitol. I've been learning to love it—and on the way home last night it grabbed me as I was driving by.
(I even took pictures of it through the fountain... It's a disease, really...)
You'll likely see at least one more set of images of the capitol at some point (night shots must occur). :o)

Topeka at Night

I was so tempted to go with just a black screen. :o) But, here's the capitol as taken with a crappy phone camera.
