No power in my neighborhood this morning because of the storm. Should be back on in "12 to 24 hours." Above is one of the downed limbs on the next block from me.This one is in my yard.A little further down the street.

And I'm now obsessed with the reflection thing...

Already it's starting to be sunset time as I leave work.

OK, so I left work at about 6:30, but still...

I Love Bugs...

In case it isn't obvious, I just like 'em. (At one point in my history, I considered entomology as a profession. I had the whole deal: bugs in cigar boxes, bugs in jars, bugs in our freezer.) I've been enjoying listening to the cicadas the past few weeks (nothing vibrates the inside of your head quite like a few excited cicadas) but was disappointed I hadn't seen any. Caught this one on my way in from the parking lot:Unfortunately, already dead, so no "motion" shots. ;-)

Isolda and the Bug

Today was Valor Tournament in Vatavia. Watched some good fighting, and took some pictures:

Today was Gilligan and Korra's going away party. Much fun and frivolity occurred:

The fighters got in armor in the afternoon. The "gallery" sat under the trees and watched while sipping cold drinks. I was really enamored with how the fighters looked under the trees and through the leaves:
